Purdue Global Law School

Transforming How Law Is Learned Online

Overview

Purdue Global Law School (formerly Concord Law School) is the nation’s first fully online law school. The project was a complete redesign of its digital platform, with the goal of modernizing the site, reinforcing the school’s credibility, and making the experience clearer for prospective students — many of whom are working professionals balancing education with full-time careers.

Role

Front End Developer
Angular, TypeScript, LESS

The Problem

The previous site looked outdated and didn’t communicate the professionalism or legitimacy of an accredited online law program. Prospective students needed straightforward pathways to program information, admissions requirements, and outcomes. The challenge was to build a modern, responsive site that presented this content with clarity and authority.

My Contribution

I was part of the front end development team responsible for implementing the redesigned site in Angular. I built reusable, component-based templates that supported program pages, admissions content, and student resources, ensuring a consistent structure across the site.

Using TypeScript within Angular, I developed strongly typed components and logic that improved maintainability and reliability. For styling, I implemented a modular LESS structure that allowed for scalable, brand-consistent design across templates.

I worked closely with designers to translate complex page designs into pixel-perfect, responsive layouts that preserved fidelity while meeting accessibility and performance goals.

Impact

The redesigned site positioned Purdue Global Law School as a credible, professional leader in online legal education. Clear navigation and structured program information made it easier for prospective students to evaluate offerings, while the modernized front end strengthened the school’s overall digital presence and ability to serve working professionals.
